How I Overcame Crohn’s Disease – Achieving Your Goals

If you are like a lot of my members you’re going to encounter resistance when it comes to making a move to retire in another country like Thailand. You’ll be constantly faced with other people’s beliefs about whether or not they could make such a move. Believes are the most powerful driving force in deciding whether or not you can or cannot do something. When I was younger I was facing a health crisis where I was told by the established medical community that the malady I was facing was incurable.

In the video I’ll tell my particular story but for those who don’t know about Crohn’s disease I’ll give you a little bit of information here about this devastating illness. Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It causes inflammation of your digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss and malnutrition. Inflammation caused by Crohn’s disease can involve different areas of the digestive tract in different people.

The inflammation caused by Crohn’s disease often spreads deep into the layers of affected bowel tissue. Crohn’s disease can be both painful and debilitating, and sometimes may lead to life-threatening complications.

While there’s no known cure for Crohn’s disease, therapies can greatly reduce its signs and symptoms and even bring about long-term remission. With treatment, many people with Crohn’s disease are able to function well.

So there you have it. I wouldn’t wish this illness on my worst enemy. It’s horrific and life-changing. Luckily though, I was able to piece together a lot of information and refinement to come up with a way to (the medical community does not like me to use this word) CURE myself. I haven’t had any symptoms now in over 20 years and I eat whatever I feel like eating without fear of any pain or suffering or exacerbation or re-occurrence of the disease.

To me when they say my disease is in remission it’s like telling me the cold or flu that I had two years ago is in remission and just waiting to return again and when it does they’re going to say, “see I told you so”.

So be very careful, no matter what area of your life, what beliefs and rules you have for accomplishing something and listen to what other people’s beliefs and rules are and incorporate the ones that support your outcome into your path to success.
