It seems like there is a festival or holiday almost every week in Thailand. But this is one of the special ones.
But the main ones happen only a few times per year.
One of the biggest is Loy Krathong. At this time people go to a body of water and float lanterns in the water with flowers, incense and candles. These elements put on the float or “krathong” mean many things to many people.
But for Thai people they also use candles for another reason during this festival. Check it out.
