Thailand Air Cond. Train Travel – 400 Mile Trip for $20

Bangkok to Chiang Mai – travel around Thailand cheap. No matter what kind of person you are or what kind of retirement budget you are on, you will want to get out and travel around now and then.

Thailand has a lot of great things and places to see. So how can you get around long distances safely and economically? Well here is a comfortable 400 mile trip I took for twenty dollars. Recline back in the air conditioning and enjoy the scenery from Bangkok to Chiang Mai!

When using the rail system in Thailand don’t expect an on time arrival. The trains can run hours late especially if travelling north to Chiang Mai from Bangkok.

But be aware that they do leave promptly on time so do not be late for your departure.

On the other hand the bus system seems to run on a much more tighter schedule.
