Are there Thailand safety issues? Is it a place you need to watch out for something bad to happen? OR is it a place with more freedom for foreigners than they have back home? What do some foreigners, or Farang, do with more freedom and opportunities?

I think Thailand should start giving out Darwin Awards to some Farang who visit Thailand. In case you don’t know the Darwin Awards are a tongue-in-cheek honor, originating in Usenet newsgroup discussions around 1985. They recognize individuals who have supposedly contributed to human evolution by selecting themselves out of the gene pool via death or sterilization by their own actions.
So here are my thoughts and opinions on the necessity of upping your game when it comes to taking responsibility when living or visiting Thailand.
