JC’s Road Trip – Chiang Rai Part 5

Part 5 of living or retiring in Chiang Rai – hanging out with ostriches!

So I am in Chiang Rai trying to find out how livable it is for Category 1 RIPpers. I am traveling and staying in the RIPper Mobile. The challenge is finding places to shower. So I was told about an ostrich farm that has camping….

Chiang Mai and the beaches are great places to hang your retirement hat. But as I say, “there’s always an option”, and that is why I want to show you all the other great places to live in Thailand and in the neighboring countries.

This time my road trip takes me to Chiang Rai. Chiang Rai is further north and closer to the Burmese border. I haven’t been there for a few years and I’m curious as to how it has progressed towards a more retiree friendly city. Join me on my road trip and let’s see what Chiang Rai has to offer these days and whether a Category 1 RIPper could have a good life living there.
