Pattaya is a colorful place. It has whatever you want.
Some call it the entertainment capital of the world. Rightly so. Whatever you want can be found here. From the beach, to food of all kinds, as well as companionship of all kinds. But with that comes challenges. It is a transient community. Meaning that many people come and go. Everybody lives here for a reason. The local expat community live here because it has everything you could ask for. The workers come because there are jobs. Because of this some things are not the same as a place where people “come from”. There are no social restraints. There is a certain anonymity to living in a place where nobody really knows who you are. Crime is higher and so are prices of goods and services. Having said that, you can still live on a budget very well in Pattaya and have a lot of fun!
