Well we have traveled to Hanoi, Danag and Da Lat Vietnam this trip. Throughout the trip there have been a lot of questions regarding Da Lat and Vietnam in general. So I thought I’d answer some of the common ones which are how we feel about it as a retirement option. I feel retirement in Vietnam is a great option. Watch the video and Nat and I will explain why we feel that way.
Da Lat was and still is our favorite place in Vietnam. I think Da Lat is a good place for living full time as a retiree. I feel Vietnam has a lot to offer RIPpers (Retirees In Paradise) overall.

During our trip we continued to contemplate the question, “what would life be like living in Vietnam as a retiree and what the upsides and downsides are to living in a communist country like Vietnam? Well for us it is a great option. Is it a better option than Thailand? That wouldn’t be a good comparison as both have their pluses and minuses. It all depends on your own personal criteria. But definetly go check it out.
Ðà L?t, or Dalat’s temperate weather stands in contrast to Vietnam’s otherwise tropical climate. With its year-round cool weather, Da Lat supplies temperate agriculture products for all over Vietnam. This is high on our list so it seems Da Lat would be 1st on our list with Da Nang a close second. We like the sea!!
