Every year when winter rolls around I remember the time I lived in Northern Thailand. I always enjoyed the cool air that winters brought in the northern region of Thailand. It’s a great time to get out and enjoy the national parks and mountains. If you’re in to camping this is a great time of year to do it. We can sleep in the RIPper Mobile but we also enjoy being able to spread out and relax in a tent.
So we’re off on a winter adventure seeking out cooler weather before the hot dry burning season kicks in about mid-February. Our tentative itinerary includes Loei, Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai and a few stops in between at Phu Thap Berk, Phu Ruea National Park, Khun Chae National Park and some other cool places.
Come along with us and see what northern Thailand is like in the winter time and check out some of the national parks will be stopping at as well.
So grab a coat, a tent and maybe some hiking boots and come along with us!
